Justice Varma Controversy: Compromised Judiciary System?

Recent controversy in world justice Yashwant Varma Delhi High Court following the discovery of substantial on accountant cash at his official residence. The incident happened when a fire broke at his residence on 14th March where the fire responders found a large sum of cash in his outhouse storeroom.

Judiciary system is an important pillar of democracy as it up holes and ensures that justice is served to all. But what will happen if the very individual war trusted with serving fairness and integrity to the public are compromise and have become the part of a corrupt system? 

The public faith on the legal system will completely erode. This incident is not just a minor flaw. The judges who are interested by the public to serve them with justice are being manipulated by brother bribes and political pressures.

The reason could be any but those who are responsible for such Mal-practice must be held accountable for their actions. How can we ensure that the legal system works effectively and efficiently? 

There is a significant requirement of proper public discourse and political will to make a change. There is a strict need for making amendments in the system to ensure that at least the authority that is responsible for serving pruthness and fairness is not a part of such malfeasance. 

This case is a question to the integrity of the judiciary system and it must be looked into.

Lovely professional University recently organised a  wood carving workshop for the students of the fine arts department in a collaboration with the Shilpakala Academy, Bangalore . The workshop was organised for 15 days to introduce students to the beauty of the wood carving.  The students got an opportunity to learn this art from very experienced artisans. The experience not only helped the students in learning the art but also made them aware of the role that art plays in preserving our culture and shaping ourselves.
